Well I've been having trouble already trying new veg recipes. I made one that shall remain nameless and I made too big a batch. It involved cabbage, carrots, and an apple. The stuff wouldn't freeze. The dressing I made tasted awful. Maybe its ingredients weren't fresh enough. How long can you keep olive oil before it tastes bad? It smelled okay.
Not giving up, though. Tonight I relied on frozen broccoli and frozen peas to accompany our mushroom frozen pizza. Even that left a little to be desired, not as peppy as it usually is; the mushrooms were a bit soggy. Cooked it 13 minutes, right in the middle of the required range of 12-14 minutes.
Better luck tomorrow!

Getting Started
So, finally, veggies and I are going to be friends. In this new adventure I am going to try out new recipes and blog about this and the results. They're supposed to take up half my plate. And the simple frozen ones dolled up with a little Brummel and Brown just have lost their touch in cajoling me to eat them. But I need to eat them.
I've purchased some veggie cookbooks with gorgeous pix of all kinds of veggies and now the adventure begins.
